This privacy policy applies to the Phew mobile application for Android, developed by m2builds("we", "us").

We built this app to work without accounts and without a server. That shapes everything below.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically, we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, files, or any identifiers that could be used to contact or identify you. The app does not require an account, and there is no sign-in.

Information you enter into the app

All content you create in the app — entries, notes, and any details you record — is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to us or to any third party. We have no ability to access, view, or recover it.

If you uninstall the app, this data is deleted along with it. Please export or back up anything you want to keep before uninstalling.

Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing. We never see or receive your payment details.

We use RevenueCat, Inc. to manage subscription status and confirm whether a purchase is active. To do this, RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app user identifier along with purchase and subscription events from Google Play. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal information.

Advertising and analytics

The app contains no advertising and no third-party advertising SDKs. We do not use analytics services that track individual users across apps or websites.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights and choices

Because all of your content stays on your device, you remain in full control of it. You can delete individual entries inside the app at any time, or remove all of it by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's data through your device settings.

To manage or cancel a subscription, use the subscriptions section of the Google Play Store.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. The revision date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
